Our Programs

SMILING EYES

When the world paused, we chose to show up.

Smiling Eyes activated Chicago’s South & West Sides through public art, live musical moments featuring artists Twista, John the Author, Matt B, and DJ Monty, and essential resource distribution—bringing beauty and support directly to our communities.

A reminder that even behind masks, our humanity is still seen in our eyes—the windows of the soul.

BRIDGES TO THE BLUES

Bridges to the Blues is a multigenerational music initiative uniting artists across genres to reimagine and honor the blues.

Participants collaborate on original work while developing foundational skills in blues, songwriting, and performance—culminating in an opportunity to audition for the historic Chicago Blues Festival in Millennium Park.

Supported by Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (DCASE), Bridges to the Blues bridges legacy and innovation through sound.

TEENS IN THE PARK (TIP) FESTIVAL

Now in its 10th season, Teens in the Park (TIP) Fest has grown into the largest platform in Chicago dedicated to emerging youth artists.

Art of Culture was part of the founding efforts that helped shape the early vision and structure of this citywide festival. Presented in partnership with the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series, TIP Fest has become a significant cultural touchpoint—hosting citywide auditions, artist development workshops, and a culminating downtown festival attended by more than 1,000 supporters.

What began as a bold idea to create access and visibility for young artists has evolved into a lasting institution within Chicago’s creative ecosystem.
